To celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in China and Eid al-Adha in the Islamic tradition, the Cairo office of CTG AAGE held a fun activity called "Double Festival Celebration" where Chinese and Egyptian employees gathered together to enjoy and experience the unique charm of traditional festivals.
During the Dragon Boat Festival activities, local employees deepened their understanding of the festival's origins and customs by watching short videos and participating in knowledge competitions. In the atmosphere of the fragrant rice dumpling leaves, everyone learned to make Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), and shared their making skills with each other, which greatly brought the team members closer together. And in the Eid al-Adha activities, local employees introduced the traditional festival customs and displayed traditional local foods. Finally, everyone tasted the delicious Dragon Boat Festival Zongzi and Eid al-Adha pastries together. Amid praises for the food and bursts of laughter, Chinese and Egyptian employees celebrated each other's significant traditional festivals.
This “Double Festival Celebration” activity has enhanced the employees’ understanding of each other’s traditional cultures and was an important measure in the company’s annual cross-cultural exchange. In the future, CTG AAGE will actively seek opportunities, expand channels, and build platforms to continuously enhance interaction between Chinese and local employees, fostering a harmonious and friendly multicultural corporate atmosphere.
